Wow, this is amazing, thank you so much! I love the photos and I absolutely understand how you felt and how difficult it must have been to leave. I would have been the same! I did a tour through the whole of Scandinavia with my parents and godparents in 1980. We went all the way to the North Cape and it was magickal. We celebrated my 16th birthday at a campsite in Finland. There was a lake and at midnight the sun rested on the fog coming off the lake. I'll never forget that sight. My dad went to pick some flowers for me before midnight and some of the fellow campers gave him funny looks! LOL!
