Yes indeed! I've worked with traumatised clients over many years, especially women suffering sexual violence. The unfortunate signature of those attacks remain in the aura of the individual, making the identifying of her as a victim that much easier. In my shamanic work, this signature is one of the most important things to erase. This applies to anyone who has been a victim, appearing like a sign over their heads: even people who have been scapegoated at home or at work can appear in a different context and bullies can pick it up just as well. I would like to say that I have an invisible sign over my house which only animals can read. If they need help, food, rest, they will make their way here and we will do what we can for them. John says that we should turn off the 'cat hotel' sign as we have more cats coming over the course of a year for help: we try to get them medical help or in the last extremity, bury them.

Unfortunately this is so true Caitlin and it adds to the "unfairness" of it all. It is easy to think: "Why me again?" However, it is extremely important to share the message that such signature can be healed or "deleted", replaced by another signature. And I LOVE the invisible sign over your house!!

Yes I agree with you.

I also walked away from PoP, about 10 years ago. Similar.

But for me, and perhaps my limited access to wise actions that could be taken from own inner knowing, I trusted a small handful of the methods that were offered at that time.

This topic has long been dear to my heart.

As usual you write in a clean clear and original way.

I have lived on what has begun as « raw » land for 35 years. Many experiences and understandings only partly articulated. One day perhaps I will have the circumstances to study with you so I can take my understandings into deeper action. For Now i listen, in my limited ways, to the land where i live. What a journey.

Do you recall the practice from the path of pollen, with the skirts clearing the womb? I have long thought it would be powerful medicine for groups of women in skirts to go to different places where there is trauma on the land and do ceremony with the skirts to heal the land. 💚🌿

Well, ultimately land is our greatest teacher in these matters. And our best tool is deep listening... As for the PoP, I walked away from that body of work 12 years ago (as it didn't ring true with me) and I have not looked back. So no I don't remember and I don't know how authentic that practice is. I think circles of women (and men too) can find many creative ways of healing land and being guided by land to unique ceremonies. It will never be the same for different pieces of land, let alone land on different continents, but it will be spirit-led.
